#88 Hosanna, Hosanna 10/4/2026
Please consider:
"Hosanna" is a word of praise and supplication derived from the Hebrew word hōshīʽāh-nnā, which literally means "save us, we pray" or "help us."
I anguish. The primary message of Christian Restoration Associates has not been received and understood. The Good Shepherd has opened the door to save us. His provision is not merely for the hereafter. It is for here and now, on earth.
"Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matt. 6:10). And yet somehow, as a Christian culture, we have not heard and obeyed His still small voice. We have not recognized the significance of "I AM," the Good Shepherd. We have been motivated by the wisdom of men and their fleshly attempts to accomplish Godly objectives, rather than inspired by the wisdom of God and the power of His Spirit. As a result, we have fought endless wars and never reaped "peace on earth and goodwill toward men."
The Good Shepherd and His Sheep
Jesus told the Pharisees plainly: the one who enters the sheep pen by the gate is the shepherd, and "the sheep listen to His voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out... and his sheep follow Him because they know His voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice" (Jn. 10:3-5). He used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what He was telling them.
So Jesus said it again, even more plainly: "I am the gate for the sheep... I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture" (Jn. 10:7,9). "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep" (Jn. 10:11) — unlike the hired hand, who sees the wolf coming and abandons the flock because he does not truly own it or care for it (Jn. 10:12-13). "I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd" (Jn. 10:16).
This is the voice we have not recognized. And because we have not recognized it, we have missed what kind of battle we are actually in.
The battle is not of flesh — physical or mental — and blood. It is a Spiritual battle, and it begins in our own hearts. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Eph. 6:12). The sheep who know this fight it rightly, because "my sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me" (Jn. 10:27). They are the ones who can "seek first his kingdom and his righteousness" and trust that "all these things will be given to you as well," refusing to "worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself" (Matt. 6:33-34). And they are the ones who understand that the fight starts with forgiveness: "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins" (Matt. 6:14-15).
Unless we awaken to these realities, our lives and the lives of our offspring will forever suffer the consequences of political turmoil and war.
It is not merely a transformation of our minds; it is a purification of our hearts. Let's help one another cultivate what God has already provided for us. Let's awaken to His still small voice, His inspiration, His power, and the Fruit of peace — "in the name of Jesus Christ." Hosanna. Save us, we pray.
