#57 Allowing Scripture to Reveal What Should Already be Obvious 3/1/2026
Please consider:
1 John 2:3 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 4 Whoever says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.
1 Jn 2:14.............I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one. 15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
#58 Responsible As A Cultural Or Religious Standard 03/8/2026
Please consider:
Responsible; as a cultural or religious standard, by strength of the flesh
A wonderful attribute
having an obligation to do something, or having control over or care for someone, as part of one's job or role:
Please consider: A more wonderful attribute
Response-able; as a Christian, by the power of the Spirit
Knowing and doing God's Will with ease and power
Jn 14:9-10 Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Letting go and letting God
1 Cor 1:25For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.
Forgiving
Living by the Spirit
Gal 5:13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." 15If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. 16So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Jas 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peace-loving, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere. 18Peacemakers who sow in peace reap the fruit of righteousness.

The Way, the Truth and the Life
#59 Self-Incrimination 3/15/26
Definition: Giving testimony or evidence that directly links oneself to a crime
Please Consider:
Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
39 He also told them this parable: "Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40 The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.
41 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42 How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
Considering the above passages, it boldly brings to light what I have experienced to be true in my many years as a Christian counselor. The subtle difference is that being judged does not follow the act of judging another. Being judged is in the very act of judging others. In essence, we are pointing a finger not only at them, but at us. It is self- incriminating.
Certainly, it is important to recognize a wrong-doing; however, judgment is an act of the flesh. It is harsh, cold, and vindictive. Whereas Discernment is an activity of the Spirit of God. It is soft, informative, and well-meaning.
As we cultivate the Spiritual Gift of Discernment, we can easily see this as we observe others and recognized that what may be true of the accused is also true of the accuser. We will also be able to recognize any aspect of ourselves what is assuredly true of us as well as the other. Only with a maturity of the Faith can we begin to comprehend this concept and benefit from the insight.
When we recognize this about ourselves, we have the opportunity of entering into our prayer closet so that God may set us free. If we do not know how to do that in our own prayer closet, there is merit in finding those within the Christian culture that can assist us in cultivating that skill.
#60 Two Eternal Truths 3/22/26
One: In Him we live.
Acts 17:24 "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 'For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.'"
Two: He lives in us.
Col 1:26 the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord's people. 27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Those who are not awakened to either of these truths live by strength of flesh (which includes the mind of the flesh). They may be lawless or lawful.
One: Those who are "awakened" to God's transcendent and surrounding presence are probably living in accordance with civil law and/or religious law. Here again, however, they are doing so by the discipline of fleshly ways. They realize that there is a God and they have faith in Him.
Some of the characteristics of those who have "faith in" God are those who evidence
• Statements of faith
• Discipline to comply to the faith
• Judgement of those who do not comply with the standards of the faith
• Self-confidence
• Self-righteousness
• Pride
Two: Those who are "awakened" to Christ within, the hope of glory are free in the Spirit and of the Spirit to be and do all that God has created them to be and do. The laws are written on their hearts. They have Faith of God. The power is of God's Spirit not of the flesh.
Some of the characteristics of those who have "Faith of God" are those who evidence:
Jas 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom….17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
Conspicuous heartfelt disposition of Faith
Freedom in the Spirit and of the Spirit
Mark 12:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 31 The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
Sympathy for those who do not comply with the standards of the Faith
Confidence
Righteousness
Humility
#61 Disempowering Trespasses 3/29/26
Please consider:
Matt 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
This is the Written Word of God. And it is profound and powerful "In the name of Jesus Christ" to do so.
"In the name of Jesus Christ" I forgive (the person or groups and the offence)………Amen
There is also greater opportunity to forgive. It is forgiving a trespass not necessarily related to a person or group. I cannot Biblically document this concept. However, from my own experience, and the experience of others with whom I have facilitated prayerful counsel, it has been confirmed.
In my experience a trespass is not only something imposed by other individuals, but also "any imposition" on our well-being. Consequently, I have found benefit "In the name of Jesus Christ" to forgive.
• My own impositions on myself
• Circumstances that impose
• Situations that impose
• Anything that is disruptive
>>>>>Amen
The result has been the experience of greater peace and calm and a greater sense of being forgiven (set free or unencumbered). And consequently experiencing a greater sense of awe and wonder of God's kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
