36A 10/5/25 Wisdom from Above
God's standard:
James 3:17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
Doing
- The right thing
- In the right time
- In the right way
An aspect of Faith of God not mere faith in God.
Hebrews 11
By Faith
- Abel,
- Enoch,
- Noah
- Abraham and Sarah
- Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph
- Moses
- The Faith of many
(Joshua–Malachi)
30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days.
31 By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies in peace, did not perish with those who were disobedient.
32 And what more shall I say? Time will not allow me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets,
33 who conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions,
34 quenched the raging fire, and escaped the edge of the sword; who gained strength from weakness, became mighty in battle, and put foreign armies to flight.
By Faith, these did the right thing, in the right time, and in the right way.
#37 10/12/25 Let's Not Confuse Godly Standards and Godly Means
Please consider:
The Great Commission:
Mark 12:30 "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
Many have suggested that Love is a choice. I whole heartedly disagree. If we seek to love by the strength of our flesh, we at best can only love conditionally. Unconditional love entails freedom in and of the Spirit of God. It is the ultimate of Godly Standards and can only be attained by Godly means.
An aspect of that Christian standard is Matt 5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven."
Godly Means pertain not only to the Ultimate Standard of Love, but it also includes any Godly Standard or Policy
The Christian means are inclusive of but not limited to :
God's Gifts freely given
Praying without ceasing
Forgiving
Seeking God first
Asking and Seeking and Knocking
Avoiding reliance on mere knowledge or wisdom of men which merely puffs up
These are the undisputable Standards of The Bible, of God and therefore of Christianity. If we are truly Christian then it is our responsibility, individually and collectively, to embrace the Standards and strive together to restore the Integrity of Christendom.Anything less is not the Way, the Truth and the Life of Jesus Christ.
#38 10/19/25 Rewards
Matt 10:40 "Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. 41 Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person's reward.
This is an awesome and wonderful Truth as stated by Jesus Christ. For truly he was a prophet. However, he was much more than a prophet. He was a teacher, a healer, a server, a person of compassion and so much more. Also, He was and is our Savior. To the degree that we manifest any of these or all of these Gifts, we are rewarded. To the degree we do not comprehend and embrace any of these, we are not rewarded.
To me, this is an awesome and wonderful awareness. We as Christians and students of the New Testament have the privilege of knowing about these proclaimed Gifts of the Spirit. We also individually have the opportunity to discover and cultivate and manifest our unique Gifts of the Spirit. Collectively none of us can encompass the full spectrum of Jesus Christ of Nazareth; however, we can manifest and actualize many of these Gifts. It is in the collective and collaborative togetherness of these Gifts that we as a church body could accomplish profound works in the name of Jesus Christ.
As we are all aware, there are many world religions. To my knowledge, there is no other religion that proclaims the depths and breadths of these manifest Gifts of the Spirit. Consequently, we as Christians have a profound opportunity for ever greater works and rewards to the glory of God.
Let's discover how we can come together collectively and collaboratively to be all that we can be. Let's bear witness to the unique profundity of Christianity. Let's be that Light upon a hill.
Matt 5:14 You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 Inthe same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
#39 10/26/25 Subtle Deception
In many ways, I perceive that we have allowed ourselves to be deceived. We have sought to cultivate an intimate relationship with God by eating from the tree of knowledge and not the Tree of Life. The written Word of God is awesome and wonderful; however, I perceive it as merely a compass to help us to find the Living Word of God. The written Word, although inspired, only provides knowledge.
John 5:39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, 40 yet you refuse to come to me to have life.
The Living Word of God is the mystery hidden for ages and generations, which is "Christ within our hope of glory" (Col 1:27). It is in its origin like a seed or, more specifically, a Light which is the Light of all men.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
It is God's intention for us to be awakened to this Light and die to all the fleshly ways that obstruct this light. It is to become a radiant fire to consume us, to bear witness to the wonder of His Way, His Truth, His Life.
Matt 3:11 I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
The written Word clearly states that knowledge puffs up and love builds up. Knowledge, although well- intended, is still knowledge, whether it is good or evil, whether it is Biblical or not.
1 Cor 8:1 We know that we all possess knowledge. But knowledge puffs up while love builds up. 2 Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know. 3 But whoever loves God is known by God.
It is not the same as Life that is of God. God is the Tree of Life. God is Love. As we are increasingly prayerful, in Ways consistent with His provisions, the anointing of God's Spirit progressively permeates our heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. This is the process of Sanctification. As we die to the ways of the flesh, there is a further anointing of the Spirit. Christ is being formed in us (Gal 4:19). As we continue to mature, we are becoming new creations in Christ (Gal 4:19).
This is not a matter of education. It is not even a matter of memorizing the written Word of God. It is a matter of abiding in the will of God, in the Spirit of God. We can only achieve this with an ongoing progression of prayer (1 Thessalonians 5), humbleness, confession, and forgiveness (Matthew 6:15), and whatever else is essential to die to the old ways and be resurrected in the New Life. It is a matter of heart, and not a matter of mind. Even Jesus said of some their lips are with me, but their hearts are far from me.
Matt 15:8 These people honor me with their lips,but their hearts are far from me. 9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.
These human rules are deceiving and merely fleshly attempts to accomplish Godly objectives.

Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
The intent of CRA is:
>NOT to demean other religious perspectives but to share the rationale for a better way;
>NOT to insist but to proclaim what is perceived to be a more excellent way;
>NOT to convince but to reveal the perceived Truth and allow the Spirit of God to convict the hearts and >minds of those who are receptive;
>NOT to force feed but to share
>NOT to intimidate but to encourage;
>NOT to coerce but to invite;
>NOT to argue but to dialogue;
>NOT to divide but to unite.
